[eng] The present article has as objective to demonstrate the essentiality of the Labor Justice in the Democratic State of Brazilian Law. The Labour Court, which this year completes 80 years, was designed to effect labor rights, a national achievement, being a fundamental institution that brings citizenship and society and the working class as a whole, being one of the foundations of the socio-political model adopted by Brazil. On this historic date it is possible to observe the memory and the process of the formation of the Labour Justice, meaning to navigate what we were in the past, what we are in the present, what we to be in tomorrow, allowing us to reflect on society that we want to plant today to harvest in the future. The following question is problematic in this article: What is the role of the Labour Court in enforcing labor rights in the face of the social changes that are taking place in the world of work? Thus, the text aims to make historical, sociological and legal reflections, through an interdisciplinary study, using the deductive methodology, from a qualitative perspective, embodied in doctrinal and legal documental research, bringing as theoretical references Professors Mauricio Godinho Delgado and Gabriela Neves Delgado.
